Shopping and dining here offer a mix of exciting options.  In addition to excellent Italian, Mexican, and American fare, Bridgeport is home to a number of critically acclaimed Chinese restaurants, relaxing brunch spots, and great pizza and sandwich shops.

If you’re a White Sox fan, then Bridgeport, the home to the World Champions Chicago White Sox and Guaranteed Rate Field, is the place to be.  Enjoy fireworks every time the Sox get a homerun!

There are a number of Chicago Park District parks located throughout Bridgeport.  In addition, the area is easily accessible by CTA Red and Orange Lines, as well as the Stevenson and Dan Ryan expressways.

Bridgeport Schools

Chicago Public Schools offer a number of elementary school options, including Mark Sheridan Academy, Philip D. Armour, and Robert Healy. Bridgeport is also home to many parochial elementary schools including Bridgeport Catholic Academy, Santa Lucia School, St Jerome and St. Barbara.
